Muesli cookies with hazelnuts and oranges

Ecco l’appuntamento mensile della ricetta tradotta in inglese: biscotti al muesli con nocciole e arance.

I wanted to make cookies with oats, nuts and raisins. I go grocery shopping and while I look for ingredients from the shelves of the supermarket ..... behold, I saw the muesli, and I thought it was the base from having all the ingredients already in it, -), perfect!

200 g muesli with oats, nuts, raisins;
about 3 organic oranges untreated. of them will use the peel and 250 g of juice;
50 g honey;
100 g wholemeal flour;
100 g roasted hazelnuts.

Before you start.
Wash the oranges, grate the peel (only the superficial part) then squeeze to get juice. Chop the hazelnuts.


Place in a bowl the muesli, grated peel of oranges and sprinkle with the orange juice, stir and let stand for 30 minutes. After the rest period, add the flour and mix well. Then mix the honey and let the mixture stand for 30 minutes.

Turn the oven to 180 degrees.

After the indicated time for the second rest, add the chopped nuts and mix.

Now the mixture is ready to be put on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, forming the cookies with the help of two spoons.

Bake for 15 minutes, then cool the cookies and.... at the table.

I had prepared the cookies in the evening to eat them for breakfast the next day, but at breakfast time in this dish I've only found a couple :-)
